Himalaya products are known for their efficacy and safety of use which have been established by rigorous clinical trials conforming to the highest international standards.

In case of Ayurslim Capsules, a study was conducted on 32 obese patients of either sex (4 males and 28 females) who weighed 20% more than their desirable body weight and fell in the age group 20-45 years.

The objective of the study was to test the Ayurslim Capsules on the following parameters in a dosage of 2 capsules take twice daily for 6 months.

• Efficacy (body weight, body mass index, lipid profile and skin fold thickness)

• Tolerability

Physical, chemical and pathological investigations were carried out on day one and then on the first day of every months for 6 months.

Results showed that Ayurslim was effective in the following parameters in all patients.

• Weight reduction (Mean body weight decreased statistically from 76.6 ± 6.2 kg to 68.2 ± 2.4 kg

• Body Mass Index (BMI) reduction (mean BMI decreased from 36.00 ± 3.63 to 33.6 ± 3.85)

• Decrease in skin fold thickness

• Decrease in lipid profile

Further, there were no untoward reactions, whatsoever, in any of the patients.
